This page explains the general terms for Dealer Insider Auto’s free initial deal review and optional paid vehicle-negotiation service.
There is no payment to submit your vehicle information or receive DIA’s initial assessment. If DIA identifies an opportunity, you decide whether you want to hire DIA to negotiate. You will receive and accept the service agreement before any payment is requested.
Dealer Insider Auto may review the vehicle, quote, worksheet, buyer’s order, trade information, financing terms, fees, products, and other information submitted by the customer. This initial assessment is complimentary and does not obligate the customer to purchase negotiation services.
If the customer chooses to hire DIA after the initial assessment, the customer accepts the engagement agreement first. DIA then sends a separate secure Chase card-payment link by text or email. A $200 engagement payment is required before DIA begins communicating with the dealership or performing the paid negotiation service. The engagement payment is applied toward the total service fee.
If Dealer Insider Auto closes the deal with more than $1,500 in documented savings, the customer agrees to pay the remaining $600 balance, for an $800 total service fee. The specific accepted service agreement controls the engagement.
The customer authorizes DIA to review the submitted information and, only after accepting the paid service agreement, to communicate with the dealership or advise the customer regarding deal structure and negotiation.
The customer remains solely responsible for reviewing and signing all dealership paperwork, financing documents, payment terms, taxes, registration charges, fees, warranties, products, trade documents, and final purchase documents.
Dealer Insider Auto does not guarantee financing approval, vehicle availability, dealership participation, a specific savings amount, or completion of a vehicle purchase. Results vary based on the vehicle, dealership, market, customer qualifications, and deal structure.
Information submitted for a deal review is handled in accordance with DIA’s Privacy Policy. Optional marketing SMS consent is not required to request a review or purchase a service. Transactional communications necessary to respond to a customer’s request may still occur through the contact method provided.
These general terms are provided for transparency. Customers who choose paid negotiation services accept the applicable agreement before payment. Dealer Insider Auto does not collect card information on this website. Payment is made through a separate secure Chase link sent by DIA, and negotiation begins only after Chase confirms the engagement payment.
